A British minister sacked from government because of her Islamic faith

The former British Minister of Transport, who is a current conservative parliament member, Nusrat Ghani, said that she was sacked from government because of her Islamic faith.

The Pakistani descendant 49 year-old PM said that a chief whip in the government informed her that “Muslim woman minister status was making colleagues feel uncomfortable”.

She added that she remained silence after being warned of a negative impact to her career should she choose to pursue this case.

The Conservative chief whip, Mark Spencer, has identified himself as the person accused of making the remarks. “These accusations are completely false and I consider them to be defamatory. I have never used those words attributed to me,” he tweeted.
