Muslim Minorities Monitor Sign a Cooperation Agreement with The Int’l Platform for Defending Human Rights

Muslim Minorities Monitor signed a Cooperation Agreement with The International Platform for Defending Human Rights at Rowwad E-Academy in Kuwait.

This partnership comes within the framework of the Monitor’s strategic plan to expand its international partnerships to serve Muslim minorities, and to open horizons of cooperation with relevant entities and entities of common interests to defend the rights of Muslim minorities.

Purpose and Objectives of the Partnership:

This partnership aims to establish (a human rights and media partnership, that protects and advocates for the rights of Muslim minorities and reveals the reality in which these minorities live, withing their political, social, and human rights environment.) and to achieve the following:

  • Revealing the violations against Muslim minorities and working to remove them.
  • Achieving effective integration and coordination between all relevant entities and individuals who are interested in Muslim minorities.
  • Establishing a comprehensive strategy to create productive partnership and cooperation between all relevant entities.

Areas of Cooperation:

This partnership works within multiple areas, including:

  • Issuing human rights statements according to occurring events related to the rights of Muslim minorities.
  • Holding public hearings for those affected of human rights violations from amongst Muslim minorities.
  • Protecting the rights of Muslim minorities, and documenting violations of their rights, and working to remove those violations against them through all available means, within the limits of the law.

The Int’l Platform for Defending Human Rights:

The International Platform for Defending Human Rights is one of the initiatives of Rowwad E-Academy in Kuwait.
It is a human rights platform aims to spreading the culture of human rights at the level of the Islamic Nation in particular, and contributing to the development and reform of societies and their renaissance in general.

The Monitor’s Partnership with the Platform comes to serve the purpose of defending the rights of Muslim minorities in particular through a number of programmes and projects that will serve the objectives of this Agreement.
Announcement of these projects and programmes will be made in due time.
