France continues to close down mosques, Islamic schools and organisations

French Minister of Interior Affairs Gérald Darmanin announced in a tweet that France will proceed to dissolve several Islamic organisations, including mosques, Islamic schools and anti-Islamophobia civil society organisations such as “Coordination Against Racism and Islamophobia Organisation”.

French authorities claim that these decisions are justified to combat “hatred, violence and discrimination”.
